Beware of Fraudulent Telephone Calls

We have been made aware that some patients may be receiving automated telephone calls asking them to confirm whether they still wish to remain registered with the practice.

Please be aware that Ashley Centre Surgery will never contact patients in this way. We will not use automated messages to ask whether you wish to stay registered with the practice, nor will we ask you to provide personal information through an automated telephone system.

If we need to clarify any details with you, we will always do so by:

Speaking to you directly by telephone, or
Contacting you through our usual secure communication system, such as via our Accurx messaging system.

If you receive a call that you are unsure about, do not provide any personal or confidential information. Instead, please hang up and contact the surgery directly using our published telephone number.

Your safety and security are important to us. If you have any concerns about a call, message, or request claiming to be from the practice, please contact us and we will be happy to verify whether it is genuine.
