MMR vaccination texts

We are aware that many of our patients have received a text from NHS England advising them that their child’s MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccination status may not be up to date.  We believe these texts may have been sent out in error.  Please check your child’s red book to ensure their vaccinations are up to date.  Two doses of the MMR vaccine provide the best protection against measles, mumps and rubella.  These are usually given to babies and young children as part of the NHS Vaccination and around 1 year and 3 years 4 months.

If you believe that you child may not be fully vaccinated or if you have further queries, please send us an admin enquiry via the Ashley Centre Surgery online form.  We will respond to you within 2 working days.
